I delivered my son here on February 24, 2026, I truly had the best experience. All the nurses in labor and delivery and the mom and baby unit were so kind, Compassionate and made sure we were well taken care Of! I couldn’t thank them more! Midwife Sarah was amazing too.

From the moment I arrived at Tampa General Hospital to the moment I could finally breathe easy, I received care I will never forget. I came in having lost more than half my blood, in shock, terrified. What I found here was a beautiful orchestra of precision — the team that received me and gave me my first transfusion, every nurse and tech, and even the staff who quietly came to clean my room. Every single person played their part flawlessly. The doctors have seen cases like mine a thousand times, yet they treated me like the only patient in the building — adjusting for every detail that made my situation unique. The science, the checks and balances, the sheer humanity of this place saved my life. (And while they’re not part of TGH, I have to also thank the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crew who got me there alive — they were the first link in the chain.) I am alive because of Tampa General. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had to visit the ER at Tampa General Hospital during one of the hardest moments of my life. I was uninsured, overwhelmed, and scared — but the care I received was beyond extraordinary. Dr. Enola Okonkwo, RN Haly J., RN Alyssa D., Erin F., Andrew, Jen Y., and the entire team treated me with genuine compassion, dignity, and kindness. Even though the ER was extremely busy, everyone remained calm, supportive, patient, and truly caring. They helped me with medications, transportation home, follow-up care, healthcare assistance programs, and made sure I was safe every step of the way. The hospital was incredibly clean, organized, and professional. For the first time in a long time, I felt truly cared for as a human being regardless of my financial situation or insurance status. Tampa General Hospital restored my faith in healthcare. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single person who helped me. You made an unforgettable impact during a very difficult time in my life.

Yesterday, April 23, 2026, I had a full hysterectomy done. Dr. Heather Galon, MD & the nursing staff & Anesthesiologists were AWESOME!!!!!! They took terrific care of me, keeping me educated on my procedure and made sure I was aware of everything going on and what each medication was for. They wonderfully kept my son (who was there to drive me home afterwards) and me very comfortable and provided us with warm blankets. My OR nurse even assisted with removing my facial piercings when I was unable to do it lol. I couldn’t even really be nervous about the procedure because they all made me feel so much at ease. I want to also thank Beverly from scheduling for keeping in contact with me & also keeping me informed about my surgery dates & times. The nurses that performed my pre-testing on April 17, 2026 and my PAT testing on April 22, 2026 were the best as well. They were also extremely courteous, helpful, & informative. Please forgive me for not remembering everyone’s names. They were all so very professional, welcoming, caring, supportive, kind, and helpful. Everyone was great and extremely precautious about cleanliness and consistently washed their hands. They practiced all safety measures and kept smiles while doing so. I would definitely recommend anyone to TGH! Thank you ALL so much!!!! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾. The Admissions and 4K6-Surgical Team ROCK!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Bonilla is one of the most caring, compassionate, and professional doctors I have ever met. Throughout my pregnancy, he always took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and make me feel comfortable and supported. When it came time for my delivery, Dr. Bonilla treated me with such kindness and care that he made me feel like family. His calm presence, dedication, and genuine concern for my well-being gave me confidence and peace during one of the most important moments of my life. Every appointment and interaction with him was positive. He always treated me with respect, professionalism, and compassion, and I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care he provided to both me and my baby. I highly recommend Dr. Bonilla to anyone looking for an outstanding OB-GYN. He is not only an exceptional physician but also a wonderful human being who truly cares about his patients.

I’ve been admitted several times to TGH for various reasons and surgeries. My last time was just a few days ago. There will always be some issues, but had to give 5 stars solely for the fact that the hospital at home program and team are amazing! At the hospital itself, the nurses and techs were great. Communication could have been a bit better, and had a screamer next to me for 2 nights, but not much you can do about the last one. On my 3rd day I was offered hospital at home after a procedure and I jumped on it. The chance to be treated at home was amazing. It was done quickly, didn’t have to wait for discharge paperwork, and was on the way home shortly after getting out of recovery. Matteo, Tuan and Jen with the Hospital at Home team are great. Made me feel very comfortable, they explained everything, brought all the equipment and infusion pump and all I had to do was relax on the couch. A tech came to draw blood and Tuan and Jen brought my prescriptions from the TGH pharmacy when they came for their second visit. I can’t say enough good things about it. I hope it’s not needed again, but if I have to be admitted, I am immersing for the hospital at home option if it is available.

I just received a kidney transplant on 9th of July and TGH TEAM WAS FANTASTIC! This is an overwhelming experience and they all every single person guided me and was handled me in a way that I did not think possible from when I checked in the two that work at the check-in desk that more that afternoon till when I got to the second floor each and that team they showed me to my room from going to Dialysis (Neil Nicholson thank you !!). Transport , food services, the 7th floor nurses station all the doctors!! Thank you thank you for this blessing! The best transplant hospital in the country!!

I’m really grateful I ended up at Tampa General Hospital for my surgery, because the care I received there truly went beyond anything I expected. From the moment I arrived for pre-op, I was treated with such kindness, patience, and respect that it immediately eased my nerves. I was anxious going in, but every nurse, doctor, and staff member I encountered took the time to speak to me like a person, not just a patient. They explained everything clearly, reassured me when I needed it, and never once made me feel rushed or like I was “just another case.” Going into surgery, I felt safe in a way I didn’t even know was possible in a hospital setting. The anesthesia team and surgical staff were calm, professional, and compassionate. I truly felt like I was being cared for at the highest level, with real attention to both my physical safety and emotional comfort. After surgery, that same level of care continued. The recovery staff were gentle, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable and stable before discharge. I never felt forgotten or overlooked at any point. By the time I left, I honestly felt like I had been cared for “like a queen,” not just medically but emotionally as well. In a moment when I was vulnerable, scared, and uncertain, the entire team made me feel safe, supported, and deeply cared for. I will always be grateful to Tampa General Hospital, my surgeon Dr. Anderson, and every nurse and staff member who played a part in my care. They didn’t just do their jobs — they showed real compassion, and it made all the difference in my experience.

I was transported from Brooksville TGH to Tampa for heart bypass surgery, must say the nurses 3rd floor Nicole Lash ,Euda,Ana, Mags,Tori,Cassandra,Judy,,Ester and the many others and Icu nurses , Keith and Clara are top notch and gave me excellent care , also there Heart team is excellent even discharge made it very easy take you down het all your Meds while waiting for ride quickly and take you outside , This is Excellent Hospital . The only improvement they need is the food was terrible , I was there 2 1/2 weeks struggled for 2 weeks last 3 days pushed every tray away , but the hospital itself is 5 star 🌟 Thank Again to entire staff for giving me excellent care and giving me anything I wanted or needed .

Admitted 15 February 2026 from Cayman Islands. Placed in bed fast by nurse arjay from ortho 8th floor. Best care from nurses. Had ortho surgery on 17 February 2026 and plastics surgery on 19 February 2026. Best care fron nurse, nurse manager and technicians. Nurse mary Grace, nurse roderick, all nurses and residents from burn unit icu stepdown. Discharged March 11, 2026.
